Funny little story

Here's a fun little story to make you laugh. My friend Kelly and I went to get some ice cream at the local "Way Cool" shop.  I placed my order first, asking for a "small soft serve vanilla in a regular cone."  The worker started to grab one of those triangle cones and I proceeded to tell her, "NO, the regular cone." I then went on a complete rant about regular cones versus triangle cones. I shared out loud for all to hear how dumb I think the triangle cones are. You get less ice cream, the tip gets soggy and the ice cream leaks out and ruins your clothes (I've had it happen). I told the worker that those were the "dumbest invention and are so stupid".  My friend then placed her order (she chose to order a dish of ice cream...I wonder why?) and I started finishing my thoughts. The worker wrote down the order and then immediately decided to close the window so she could no longer hear me and my rant about triangle cones. Which do you prefer? Chose wisely!!

  1. Regular! You can hardly get anything in those other ones and I agree about the dripping (I believe the official name is "cake cone" vs the cone shaped sugar cone). I will however occasionally eat from a waffle cone -

  2. i like the taste of the waffle cone better, but yes, you DO get less in a waffle cone, plus the scoops on top fall off easily...NOT so great with little kids! i usually go for the dish instead. or a milkshake. :)

Here are the major events in the last seven years:  1. Ryan got off active duty military and we moved to Berea, Kentucky.  Ryan enrolled at Eastern Kentucky University. Ryan also joined the Kentucky National Guard. From moving so much I became fascinated with simplicity and minimalism. I am now a self proclaimed minimalist. I love having less stuff!  2. Ivy Helen was born on January 10th, 2014.  3. Summer of 2014 we moved to Bozeman, Montana. Ryan studied aviation at Montana State University. Ryan joined Montana National Guard. I got back into full time cosmetology educating. I also worked at MSU family housing. 5. Ryan graduated and is official a commercially rated pilot. We moved to New York for Ryan to go to aviation mechanic school. Ryan got out of the military completely and transition bec...

Here's some of our happenings up in the North Country. And if you thought we were patriotic before, take a look now. We acquired a giant flag (it goes from our living room to kitchen, covering our entire couch).
