"Mr. Fix it"

One day Ryan and I planned to go for a bike ride. We got dressed, filled up our water bottles, put on the army safety belts and were ready to ride. Then I discovered a flat tire.  Agh!  Ryan fixed it though and he even had to fix the brakes. Sure is nice to have a man around!

Big Bear Lake

Last weekend we got away from Fort Irwin and explored Big Bear Lake. It's a neat resort town. One of our favorite parts was the little ice cream shop. Delicious!

Hair

Remember how my hair used to be short and blonde?  Well take a look now, it's long and brown! What's next?

"FUN" WITH THE MORTARS........HA!!!!

Finally had the chance to don my skull mask this week. Had a nice training exercise in the field for 4 days. Got to shoot the mortars once again. Been a little while. Twas fun.

Hobby try #1

I've been searching for hobbies. I know that probably sounds bizarre but it's true! I really have not given myself time for any hobbies but decided it's about time I get some. I went on the internet and printed a list and figured I could start going through each hobby until I find some I like. I did discover one thing, I like a project that you can start and finish within a couple of hours. Take a look at these blocks. We have two weddings coming up and I needed something to do so I started and finished the project. I was actually pretty proud of how they turned out. Now, I don't plan on making these all the time. Maybe every once in a while. There might be some more pictures later of my other hobby trials!!
Ryan wasn't feeling so good the other day...I discovered why when I looked about my camera pictures. He had a little too much frosting!

Temple trip

This weekend we had the opportunity to attend the Redlands Temple. Wonderful day!

Stress relief

This is one of the ways Ryan likes to relieve stress. After a little encouragement I finally shot a few rounds and now feel less stressed!

Haircut?

Have you ever tried cutting a medium skin fade? Well I gave it a try and this is what Ryan ended up with!
