Vegetables

Now that's one way to eat a cucumber!
It's hard to believe but Fort Irwin can actually have some pretty scenes.

Study Time?

Ryan's been studying for over 2 weeks for the promotion board. It tires him right out. As a matter of fact, he fell asleep on the exercise ball. I didn't think that was possible!

Delicious treat

Whenever we have berries, Ryan always asks, "What about the sugar?"

"Baby doll"

Ryan and I are now Sunbeam teachers (3-4 years old).  On Sunday our lesson suggested bringing in a baby doll. We don't have any baby dolls around here, so Melvin got the job!

Stuff For Work

A line up of 8 things I take to work everyday. From bottom to top: Zune (mp3 thing), wallet, phone, keys, 1911 .45 pistol, head light, clip of .45 rounds, and my sunglasses. NOW which 2, count 'em 2, things do I not take to work?

Change of Commands

Yesterday Ryan was part of a change of commands. It was my first experience of an army ceremony which I really enjoyed. The ceremony has years of tradition. Some of my favorite parts included hearing the band play, all the soldiers singing the army march and seeing this cool half track.  Can you see Ryan?  He's the one carrying the rifle.
