Turkey Weekend

The holidays this year are a little extra special since Ryan is home to celebrate, plus we have Thatcher! Our Thanksgiving began Wednesday afternoon with a drive down to Tivoli. Texas tacos, visiting and some Marx Brothers filled our first night. Thursday was full of eating turkey, Aunt Jane's gingerbread cookies (Ryan ate every siblings share), watching Ralphie and relaxing on Nana's couch. Friday was Christmas tree cutting down, jumping over the creek and eating leftovers. Throw in the men hunting down Bambie and you have a great weekend!

Weekend

Friday as soon as Ryan came home from work we loaded up the car and had a quick get away weekend. Thatcher got to hang out with cousins. Ryan got to play flag football. Thatcher experienced cold weather. I got to go on a date with Ryan to see the band Anberlin in concert. It was a nice weekend for us all.

Eating

Here's a video of Thatcher eating. He does this weird thing with his right hand. He makes a fist and raises it in the air with a look of determination. Sometimes he'll even slam his fist down. He only does this when he's eating. We still haven't figured out what it means, any guesses? Yum Yum?

Personality

Thatcher is now a little over 8 months and his personality is starting to shine forth more and more. Here's a few pictures that start to display what the little man is like. He's cheerful and happy He loves Captain America and isn't afraid to be a little goofy And sometimes he can be a real cheese ball!
Happy Sunday!

He's crawling

Count down?

The count down has begun, 50 weeks until Ryan can get out of the army. Some big questions are starting to arise. Will he really get out?  Where will we go?  What will we do?  Do you know the answer, because we don't?! We just have lots of ideas.  Our little man is beginning to take shape. He's crawling, babbling and getting quite an appetite. The hairdresser in me is getting excited that I can now do more styling with his hair.  Thatcher would much rather look out the window bottomless then get a diaper on. Oh the adventures in this King home!
