Ryan's completed project

I just learned something new about Ryan, he was the 8th grade Home Economics Student of the Year. So he put those skills to use and completed his project for Thatcher. I bet no other kid has an airplane runway as a changing pad.

Thatchman Update

It's been one week since Thatcher first graced us with his presence. He's been doing great and he's plumping up by drinking all his bottled milk. Enjoy some new pictures!! Our Gnomes favorite sleeping position. Looks comfy eh what what? These are some attempts for some cute baby pictures. At the end of the photo shoot he wasn't very pleased, but he didn't cry.  Just shot us some dirty looks He's a great addition to our crazy King/Malczyk family.

Where's Thatcher?

Can you find the baby among all the toys his dad is showing him?

Nursery

We weren't quite prepared when Thatcher arrived. We thought we still had 2 more weeks to get things put together. 5 days after he's born the nursery is almost ready. We still have a few things to add and Ryan has a special project underway. We'll be posting about it later but here's a hint, it has to do with airplanes.

Another new role

Woo Woo's first 24 years of life were spent with Ryan. Then he had the responsibility of taking care of me during deployment. Now he has a new role, Thatcher's best friend!

Our new addition

My boys are home!!! I couldn't ask for anything better then these 2 "kids" in my life. Thatcher Geoffrey King has already taken after his father..he farts, gives funny faces and has a gentle personality. The first few hours of his life were very important. He heard his first noises, airplanes, discovered his favorite band (listening with dad to some alternative rock) and watched his first movie, Captain America. A good start to life as a King.
